Founded by Larissa Batista, a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Verity brings experience across hospitality, manufacturing, and government contracting, including HR support for operations across multiple states and leadership of an entire HR department.
Services include recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, policy development, performance management, compliance support, and ongoing HR guidance. I believe the heart of every business is its people. That’s what drew me to human resources—and it’s still my favorite part of the work today.
I began building my HR foundation through internships throughout college and have worked professionally in the field since August 2019. My experience spans hospitality, a government contractor supporting engineers across multiple states, and manufacturing. Along the way, I have led and managed an entire HR department, partnering with leadership while supporting employees through every stage of their employment.
I hold a degree in Business Management and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. As an industry public speaker, I also share insights and practical perspectives on HR and the workplace.
My experience covers the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting and hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, workplace accommodations, performance management, manager coaching, policy and handbook development, HR compliance, payroll coordination, and employee separations.
I founded Verity People Consulting because growing businesses deserve experienced, personal HR support. These responsibilities are essential to a successful business, but the day-to-day details can be time-consuming and overwhelming for owners who already wear many hats.
